Medames, messieurs,

Voili voilou. Quelques images :
Bientot des nouvelles, passez un bon week-end =)
English :
Following a very important and very serious tradition about devel name searching (yes, hard work here), i’ve got the great honor to tell you that the devel i’m currently working on is named… **TADAAAAA** Archubuntu !
As i already said on ArchosLounge, this project is based on the Omniubuntu and after some work to configure it, i’ve got it to boot ! But ts_calibrate, the touchscreen calibrator, closes itseft at boot : there is currently no touch screen support. And i ‘ll switch the display to landscape =), within 1 day or two. Some pics : see in French section.
News are comming, have a good week end =)

Ladies and gentlemen, your attention please !
Because of the lack of energy and support, i’m going to change my developpement plateform. I’ve worked alone, hard worked but now this device is not as used as when i started. So, i stop developping Linux for Samsung Omnia i900. I’m sorry for the ones who were interested, but that’s it.
But i said i’ll CHANGE my devel plateform. Last Christmas, i got a Archos 5 Internet Tablet, with Android and recently, Archos released a developper firmware, Angstrom based. So… i’m going to work on A5IT, (also called A5A).
I would like to thanks everyone who was invested in this devel, like XRayA4T for le logo, and all insterested MoDaCo users. THANKS everybody !
So, this blog will now contains the GNU/Linux for Archos 5 IT project, will be written in French and English, and the old fils for the Omnia will be kept on my server for anyone who wants them.
Thanks all,

Hi everybody.
Because of my school and of my ankle (i got a reflex sympathetic dystrophy since 1 year and a half), i didn’t had time to post or even to work on Linux for i900-i910.
But as the title says, the holidays are comming (Next Friday, for 1 week and the half), so i’ll work on it.
First, i’ll post a “demo” (as Omnibuntu was) of OPIE for our device.
Second, i’ll work on Omnibian, i got some bugs and problems. So i’ve got to figure it out.
I also would like to thanks all posters for the support, that’s great.
Here i’ll answer some :
To n1nj4Lo
ReactOS has been developped for x86 devices. Not for ARM. And i’ve got an account on this site since 2 years ^^
To izzy
Of course, Andromnia isn’t as Desktop PC Linux is. That’s why i’m trying to port some other Desktop Environment to customize and enjoy a full Linux.
See you soon,

Hi guys (and girls, if any
) !
As you know, i’m working as i can on Omnibian. I have finished packages set up, like : GDM, LXDE, MATCHBOX, XVKBD and many others… ^^ I’m now trying it, but i got problems : freeze on loading Omnibian (i don’t know why…). I gonna have to figure it out. WiFi should work (installed wpa_supplicant). I got a problem : because of the hacking of Andromnia server and a format of my laptop, i lost the touch screen panel driver optimized for ts_lib. If anyone has it, please email me at admin<at><i_haaate_spam>fladnag<dot>net . Thanks.
I’m also working on a alpha release of OmniOPIE, whitch boots and works (except WiFi, Bluetooth or GSM chipset). Screenshots are coming. And the release also ^^.
I also would like to thanks everybody who supports me by comments, or simply by comming on this blog. Since his openning, i got 2,702 different visits (with different IP adresses). So i would like to say a BIG THANKS to you, visitor !
See you soooon

Hi guys !
I know i told you omnibian will go out… I’m working on it (some x.org problems ^^).
I want to tell you something : i’m going back to school (too short holidays ^^).
I’m going in my first year in B.T.S. (Brevet de Technicien Superieur, traduced : Superior Technician Diploma) in electrical engineering. I think it will take time to have this release, i gotta work ^^
I’ll do my best to work on this project as often as i can.
See you soon, and thanks for all supporters

Hi guys !
My embedded version of Debian, Omnibian, will go out in 3 or 4 days.
I’ve installed all packages we need to boot it, LXDE, GDM, virtual keybord, bluetooth libs, wifi…
I’m working on autologin to console (helped by the package “mingetty”), auto calibration, and auto startx (in ~/.bashrc)
I’m testing all these settings, i hope it will work.
For now, it boots ok and show me the console login. I can’t have GDM to start for the login (so, autologin in root…)
See you soon

Maybe some who tried to see my website have seen that it was down. That’s normal, and may not re-produce itself.
I explain :
I bought my website with a 1GB traffic per month. Since 3 years i got it, i never used more than this 1GB limit.
But since i done Omnibuntu, there was so many visitors that i used 2GB before my hoster stop it.
Now, i bought 40GB of traffic, so we have 41GB of traffic. With that, my website will be always online (i hope…)
So, sorry about this blackout, i’ll do my best to never have one again.
See you soon,
fladnaG
Hi guys and girls !
I’m currently working on Omnibian, an Omnia optimized version of Debian. I’m installing packages, like wpa_supplicant (wifi support), bluetooth applications and libraries and … a virtual keyboard (xvkbd package)
I got X server to start (I see the loading cursor) but it tries to start GDM (Gnome Desktop Manager). I’m gonna tweak the X start script to tell him to start LXDE.
The loading of Omnibian don’t show any major bug, so i think i’m on the right way !
See you soon,
fladnaG
Hi guys !
I’m happy to tell you that the sourceforge project is online.
This is a summary page, with links.
The root filesystem is also online and could be faster that MegaUpload.
