Omnibian version 0.2public will go out in some days !…
Hi guys !
My embedded version of Debian, Omnibian, will go out in 3 or 4 days.
I’ve installed all packages we need to boot it, LXDE, GDM, virtual keybord, bluetooth libs, wifi…
I’m working on autologin to console (helped by the package “mingetty”), auto calibration, and auto startx (in ~/.bashrc)
I’m testing all these settings, i hope it will work.
For now, it boots ok and show me the console login. I can’t have GDM to start for the login (so, autologin in root…)

What’s your progres with run graphical environment with working touchscreen in omnia? I’m working on emdebian on omnia but i have not time to test everthing alone. Write what you have done and i will write you what i have.

Great !! but …..I tried install by cd live ubuntu. Create partition,….. no problem.
I read the tut and error with sudo mkdir /mount (sept 2) can’t create file “mount”
